Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating our long-awaited Winter Summit at Intermedia IT, a two-day event that brought together our remote collaborators from different cities to our offices in Tandil.

Day 1: Connecting and Working Together

The first day began with a warm welcome. The company greeted us with a variety of pastries, delicious treats, mate, coffee, and in honor of Argentina's Sweetness Week, there were also candies to enjoy. This gesture not only made us feel at home but also gave us a sweet start to what would be an extremely productive morning.

One of the great advantages of this gathering was the opportunity to have face-to-face meetings with our leaders and colleagues who are usually in other cities. Being able to interact in person, instead of the typical daily virtual meetings, truly enhanced our communication and collaboration.

At noon, as we do every Thursday, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together at the restaurant "La Vereda" in Tandil. This moment not only allowed us to relax and recharge but also to strengthen our personal and professional bonds.

Productive Afternoon and Inspirational Talk

The afternoon was also productive, and at the end, a talk began with our directors Guillermo Pomeranz, Santiago Carliski, and Maximiliano Cassola. Although the content of the talk is confidential, we can share that one of the highlights was that the company is changing for the better, which made our faces light up with excitement and enthusiasm.

After Office and Personal Connections

After the corporate talk, the after office began. Here we took the opportunity to talk endlessly about our lives, get to know new colleagues, and enjoy snacks and beers. It was a perfect chance to relax and strengthen our personal bonds. Later, we enjoyed some delicious empanadas. At the end, some colleagues reserved a table at a bar in Tandil to watch the Argentina vs. Peru match for the Copa America.

Day 2: Inspiration and Teamwork

On Friday, our second day of the Winter Summit, began at 8 a.m. with a pleasant surprise: a talk by Wenceslao Segons, one of the most renowned ontological coaches in our country. An expert in team formation, every word from Segons was extremely valuable for our team. After the talk, we participated in a group game that ended up being a source of valuable conclusions for our lives.

We continued our workday, and at noon, we couldn't miss a barbecue lunch, typical of our team Fridays. One of the guys always steps up to light the fire. This time we enjoyed some delicious choripanes.

Closing and Farewell

We continued working together, and at the end of our Winter Summit, some of the remote collaborators returned to their cities, while others decided to stay for the whole weekend to enjoy our beautiful city, Tandil.

Conclusion

The Winter Summit was a resounding success. Working together in the same physical space, sharing meals, listening to inspirational talks, and enjoying an after office not only made us more productive but also strengthened our sense of community and belonging at Intermedia IT. Nuestro Winter Summit: Un Encuentro de Productividad y Conexión

La semana pasada tuvimos el privilegio de celebrar nuestro esperado Winter Summit en Intermedia IT, un evento que duró dos días y que reunió a nuestros colaboradores remotos de diferentes ciudades en nuestras oficinas en Tandil.

Día 1: Conectando y Trabajando Juntos

El primer día comenzó con una cálida bienvenida. La empresa nos recibió con una variedad de facturas, cosas ricas, mate, café y, en honor a la Semana de la Dulzura en Argentina, también había golosinas para disfrutar. Este gesto no solo nos hizo sentir como en casa, sino que también nos dio un dulce comienzo para lo que sería una mañana sumamente productiva.

Una de las grandes ventajas de este encuentro fue poder realizar reuniones cara a cara con nuestros líderes y compañeros que normalmente están en otras ciudades. Tener la oportunidad de interactuar en persona, en lugar de las típicas reuniones diarias virtuales, realmente potenció nuestra comunicación y colaboración.

Al mediodía, como todos los jueves, disfrutamos de un delicioso almuerzo juntos en el restaurante "La Vereda" de Tandil. Este momento no solo nos permitió relajarnos y recargar energías, sino también fortalecer nuestros lazos personales y profesionales.

Tarde Productiva y Charla Inspiradora

La tarde también fue productiva, y al finalizar comenzó una charla de nuestros directores Guillermo Pomeranz, Santiago Carliski y Maximiliano Cassola. Aunque el contenido de la charla es confidencial de la compañía, podemos contar que uno de los puntos que más se destacaron fue que la empresa está cambiando para bien, lo que hizo que nuestras caras brillaran de emoción y entusiasmo.

After Office y Conexiones Personales

Luego de la charla corporativa, comenzó el after office. Aquí aprovechamos para conversar sin parar sobre nuestras vidas, conocer a nuevos compañeros y disfrutar de picadas y cervezas. Fue una oportunidad perfecta para relajarnos y fortalecer nuestros lazos personales. Después, disfrutamos de unas riquísimas empanadas. Al finalizar, algunos compañeros reservaron una mesa en un bar de Tandil para ver el partido de Argentina contra Perú por la Copa América.

Día 2: Inspiración y Trabajo en Equipo

El viernes, nuestro segundo día del Winter Summit, comenzó a las 8 de la mañana con una grata sorpresa: una charla de Wenceslao Segons, uno de los coach ontológicos más reconocidos de nuestro país. Especialista en formar equipos, cada palabra de Segons fue super valiosa para nuestro equipo. Después de la charla, realizamos un juego de grupos que terminó siendo una fuente de valiosas conclusiones para nuestras vidas.

Continuamos con nuestra jornada laboral, y al mediodía no podía faltar un almuerzo a la parrilla, típico de nuestros viernes de equipo. Siempre uno de los chicos se la juega y prende un fueguito. Esta vez disfrutamos unos deliciosos choripanes.

Cierre y Despedida

Continuamos la jornada todos juntos trabajando, y al finalizar nuestro Winter Summit, algunos de los colaboradores remotos se volvieron a sus ciudades, mientras que otros decidieron quedarse todo el fin de semana para disfrutar de nuestra hermosa ciudad, Tandil.

Conclusión

El Winter Summit fue un rotundo éxito. Trabajar juntos en el mismo espacio físico, compartir comidas, escuchar charlas inspiradoras y disfrutar de un after office no solo nos hizo más productivos, sino que también reforzó nuestro sentido de comunidad y pertenencia en Intermedia IT.
